The sunlight on the left (her left) boot bugs me. It makes the shoe looked 'shopped and a cut-paste-reverse of the other, which isn't a bad idea since it allowed more symmetry to the picture, it just makes things look very off. Awesome picture nonetheless.
By just looking at it, it seems normal, but after you mentioned that, yeah I can see what you mean by her boot is sun lite on the other side. But without examining it,its still such a bad ass photo. wish I could make shots like this
I'm no photographer or model so I know nothing and applaud it mindlessly. But even after doing so I find my eye can't figure out if she's actually hanging or not. I think because her legs are bent it really throw off the illusion... but.but. the rocks fade further on to show distance. End my suffering! Is she hanging of laying on rocks?!
Yeah I'll jump off 300m objects but hanging from a 20 meter sandstone cliff is just suicide. When you're photographing it's just completely unnecessary too since you can easily edit out a rope anyways. I'm all for being crazy but you gotta pick when and where to take your risks very carefully.
At 50 I'm now too old and stiff to keep doing it, but I used to free climb a bit back in the day. Free-climbing on igneous rocks (and we've got lots of basalt, granite and Lewisian Gneiss in Scotland) is mostly a question of grip, fitness and experience, but sedimentary rocks (and some metamorphics) you're trusting the rock to not crumble from under you.
Now I think about it, if I'd had the money and it had been invented, I might have been up for BASE jumping too.
